Ullerup was first seen first in Battlestar Galactica remake, the Sci Fi Channel's 2006 TV show. The role she played was Julia Brynn. Ullerup played Ashley Magnus on the Sanctuary TV series during its initial and second seasons until it was canceled. The reason for her departure was a source of heated debate among viewers, with a majority of them wanting her brought to the show in subsequent episodes until the show was canceled in 2012. Ullerup made an appearance on Chesapeake Shores as Bree O'Brien. Ullerup was played by Maggie Thomas, Michael Thomas' estranged spouse, in Asteroid: Final Impact (2005).
